This was a great movie, but I wasn't as satisfied as a lot of other people who gave this movie a perfect 10 and I definitely found some problems with this movie which took away from the experience.
Things I liked:

  • All the fanservice. Seeing so many familiar faces and locations from the MCU was great.
  • The unexpectedness of the events of the movie, given that they kill Thanos in the beginning and the 5 year time-jump that follows.
  • How the movie handles both emotional depth and humor.
  • There were a lot of great memorable individual scenes (Tony talking with his dad, Hawkeye and Black Widow's struggle to get the soul stone, the plan to get the Tesseract failing the first time, Cap saying "Hail Hydra" and "Avengers Assemble" Cap using Mjolnir, Tony's "I am Iron Man" etc. li>
  • All of the main characters got some important moments (Hawkeye and Ant-Man deserved them. li>
  • The final battle and the scene where all Avengers show up was just fantastic.
  • Tony and Cap got great send-off's.

Things I did not like:

  • Thor. I get why he is this way, from both a narrative standpoint and because he would overpower Thanos if they did not go this route, but he's just a joke throughout the movie while he was one of my favourites in IW. He just wasn't satisfying here, but since this is not his last movie it is not a big problem.
  • Hulk. I liked his fusion with Banner but he doesn't do any fighting at all. Where is his well-deserved rematch with Thanos? I really feel like he is underused in the MCU.
  • The whole time-travel plotline leaves some plotholes, like how Captain America ended up in the same timeline as where he started in the ending of the movie and how Thanos, Gamora and his Black Order teleported to the future without having any Pym particles. If you can transport objects like Thanos' ship with multiple people inside through time, could the main crew not have done that when they split up to save up on Pym particles? Some of the plotholes can be resolved if you assume other things, but the fact that you have to do this, that these plotholes where never explained or addressed at all is already a problem.
  • Thanos. This is by far the biggest problem of the movie for me. The 2014 Thanos is way more one-dimensional than the Thanos from IW. They spend an entire movie developing him just to throw that all away, and it lessens the impact of the final fight sequence (as glorious as it is) and makes it feel a little anticlimactic.
  • The main conflict of the movie (bringing everyone from the snap back to life) is resolved right before the climax of the movie, making the actual climax and the plotline of 2014 Thanos going to the future feel slightly out of left field, again lessening the impact of the final fight and Tony's sacrifice.

Some of these negatives are definitely nitpicks, but they did impact my enjoyment of the movie and I felt IW was the better movie. This was still a great watch overall though and I would recommend it to fans of the MCU.

This scene officially ended DC's movie career. You mean to TELL ME A rat A father figure who lost his kid And Back To The Future Saved a whole universe. Gamora tho. She is on her phone the entire time lol. I think i have never laughed or cried as much as i did when i saw this film. It's the end of an era. Even though i loved this film there are some elements that i didn't like which were fat thor, they way hulk was treated and that there was barely any action throughout the first 2 hours of the film. Despite these flaws i still really enjoyed this film and i recommend you to watch it again.

2 minutes silence for those who were telling that Endgame has so many plotholes. Wtf. You guys censored the beer. You made it look like something worse than a beer xD. 1:54 the start of that icon shot.

What I loved about this scene even more is the music is a straight callback to the first avengers where the original six assembled and if you listen closely to this music, its the same one where the avengers were working together in the first movie. Fucking love it. 2:32 I really love the development of Nebula's character here. Such an underrated scene in my opinion. NOBODY CARE ABOUT SPIDERMAN : NO NO NO NO DONT PUT UR EGGS ON ME.

 

 

The only film I've ever seen twice in the same night, 3 times that same weekend. It was spiritual. 11 years later, and 2:42 to 3:32 is still my favorite one.
